Aurbach Wins Republican Nomination in District 30 and Heads Into General Election
Dallas, Texas, September 28, 2006 Each week, Wilson Aurbach, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in District 30, and campaign volunteers come face-to-face with voters, speaking with them about the campaign, Aurbach's core issues and his dedication to the people in his district. Saturday, September 30, will prove to be an important day in this effort. Dr. Robin Armstrong, Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, will walk with Aurbach and his volunteers to reach out to all communities within the district to vote, and vote Republican.
"I am excited and honored to team with Wilson Aurbach on the front line of his campaign, listening to the concerns of the voters in his district and educating them on the importance of voting so that their concerns are fought for in Washington," said Armstrong. "It is not enough to preach to the choir. We must continue to grow our conservative base by reaching out to people of all faiths, professional groups and minorities who have been abandoned by liberalism."
Dr. Armstrong is a conservative Republican with a passion for serving people. He has been a strong and effective leader in Republican Party politics, in his medical profession, in his church and in his community for the past fifteen years. Dr. Armstrong has worked in inner city and youth ministries at his church because he believes that ministry service truly provides solutions to people's needs. He has served in several political positions including State Republican Executive Committeeman for Senate District 11, which covers parts of Galveston, Harris and Brazoria Counties. He was elected Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas in June 2006.
